I would appreciate a little help. The paint immediately surrounding (3mm or so) the two rear reflector lenses has begun to peel of. I cant't see how to remove the less to get at the paint to touch it up. If you have to access the less from underneath the rear then I will need to remove the Librands exhaust as heat shielding material covers the area. On the other hand, from what I can see, it could be that the lenses are mounted on plywood or ash in which case, no worry about corrosion and no need to remove the lenses as I can touch the area up with a fine paintbrush. Anyone any experience of taking the reflector lenses off? Photo attached, it is the lower lenses in the cluster that I am referring to.

if I am understanding your post correctly,it is the two red reflectors you are referring to and not the actual light clusters ?

If so ,it is good news

The rear reflectors have a central screw thread on the back of them and simply screw in to the ash frame.I can't actually remember which way to turn but, going by -

'righty tighty,lefty loosey'

I would assume it is anti-clockwise to loosen them off.

If they are really stuck tight they may have to be sacrificed to get them turning (i.e.. 'Billy Bodgered' - small chisel tapped in the rim 'till they start to loosen ) ;new ones are available from the usual suspects if this is the case......
