I'll never understand why copycats are capable to get the complicated bonnet right but fail with simple things like doors and hood.

Call me naïve but I thought the Morgan shape was copyright. The 'screen is too tall and other details are a bit off but overall not a bad effort. I hope Morgan's legal beavers are on the case. Good luck with that in Turkey.

It may be a copy of an early pre 1968 car with only two..  The door handles are back to front..

I always thought the triple came along with the Plus 8 Graham, live and learn every day that's the TM way.

Interesting, my 1971 Plus 8 had three. But perhaps US Spec . . .

Yes, I think so Mark - a requirement for greater swept area than existed in UK maybe.
I drove a friend's'69 +8 a number of years ago and I can't remember whether that had 2 or 3...

The first Plus 8 prototype (OUY 200E) was fitted with three and that would be around 1966/7 I guess.
There's a picture of it in First and Last of the Real Sports Cars.
Heather Morgan's lovely automatic Plus 8 DHC also had three on a J suffix plate, also in the GHB book.
I can't recall seeing a Plus 8 with two but who knows.

All Plus Eights were fitted with three wipers; the only Plus Eight not fitted with three wipers was the prototype that was built on a Plus 4 chassis. Plus Fours and 4/4s were only fitted with two wipers until the 1990s.
I suspect that the change to three wipers for all cars coincided when the chassis was rationalised and the Plus Eight chassis adopted for all four wheeled cars. Before that, the 4/4 and Plus 4 chassis were narrower than the post 1977 Plus Eights by 2 inches.
I stand corrected on the Plus Eight prototype.
