So far so good

Attempted a 'dry fit' of the folding windscreen tonight to see how it goes and what clearance I have on the scuttle and to see what needs fettling

Sides carefully removed - 1 side at a time so the screen didn't fall

Done and folded

I made sure I labelled ever fitting as I took them off as I've heard some horror stories of screens cracking when tightening up a screw too long

Now a bit of a cleanup as there is so much dirt under the screen

Looking pretty sleek sans screen

Also pleased Morgan left enough slack on the heated screen wires to allow it to fold - I thought I might have to cut them and reattach

Looks like a good job done well. Are you feeling braver to attempt the aero screen challenge yet?

Still a bit nervous, I'm going to have to drop the dash however I attach them so I don't damage the veneer

Stewart, well done.
A watch point for the aero screens. Even if the feet & the screens miss the windscreen when the windscreen is up the winged nuts that hold the aero screens to the feet can touch the windscreen.

I found I left the aero screens on generally so this touching is annoying even if only when the car vibrates.

Good point, thanks for that John - will double check that one

There are so many potential pitfalls on this little project

I know I found it a scary process to drill into the car.

Well done you! I wasn't aware that this could be done on a heated windscreen.
