I have a 2011 +4 on which the windscreen wipers never swept the screen cleanly. So I recently changed them to cut-down Holden 10" blades and this was some improvement. What I now get is a perfectly swept screen when the blades are moving left to right (from the drivers point of view) and vibration, smears and waterdrops left behind when the blades move right to left. All three blades are affected. Degreasing the screen and blades has made no difference. Has anyone got any idea how to fix this?

Set the wipers at the mid point of the wipe by turning off the ignition whilst the blades are moving, you may have to do this a couple of times to get it to stop where you want it. Then you remove the blades, being careful not to drop the stalk against the screen with a bang. Take a a couple of small pieces of leather to protect the metal and using two pairs of pliers twist the end of the stem so that it sits flat on the screen. You will note that as standard only one edge is touching the screen.

Because of the angle of mounting on the Morgan the angle of the end of the blade changes over the length of the sweep. Setting it at the mid point is the best compromise. In this way the blade is able to flip from side as it changes direction. The vibration and skipping occurs because the blade has not flipped for the return stroke.

I get this all the time, and thought that it was a Morgan quirk in looking pretty but not working quite so well in practice.
So, thank you for the tip Peter - I would love a solution to this niggle.

After having implemented Peter's Best Practise, you may wat to put Rain X on the windshield. I have good experience with it.
BTW, excellent you drive your Morgan in the rain!

I am a fan of Rain X. Although Peter's adjustment sure can not hurt. For some reason I just don't think the Lucas electric Wiper system is up to the task. So I just use the electric wiper sporadically, depending on Rain X to do the main work.

On the +8 Bitsa, I use a manual Boat Wiper. It works. But again it is Rain X that is doing the heavy duty work.

Forget snow. Morgan wipers are up to the task. Briefly. Very Briefly I would suggest. Been in snow, not good!

I drive in the rain. From the Pacific Northwest. How can I not drive in the rain.

Just a caveat. The two Morgans that have a working Lucas Wiper system are a '61 and a '63. I am sure the wiper system has been well used to the point it is about worn out, or at least need maintenance (grease). So My experience is probably not the same as those with a more Modern Morgan.
