Looking at the Aero's currently being built, which are all destined for the UK and Europe, the vast majority have side-pipes which must say something... flag

This post should be ban-free as I have not said anything controversial; so far, over to you BtG!! somestick grin2

No suppression on "pipes Talk"... This is a free society (Scameras excluded)

Any more talk of bans will elicit a sit-in outside TM offices by unshaven 'bra burning' women of my choosing.

Well Matt, I think you can see the grand divide here:

Sports exhaust (one pipe or two vicar) - loud and very MaxPower wink

Side exits - unobtrusive, aesthetically pleasing and very Spitfire like when angry or goaded - how very British smile

I think the main conclusion is NOT factory standard pipes nono

Heinz had 57 varieties, as far as I can see the Aero has only one - the proper one with side exit exhausts

Ever find it to intrusive in the cabin? scared

Matt

Any other pics Matt? was the demo car MMC II there? If so that is my baby now love

And no, side exits definitely not too intrusive, they are actually quieter than the sports pipes under normal driving (pro's and con's there) but rasp when provoked smile

Hi Kin, yes they are quiet. Completely unobtrusive at tick over, very gentle V8 rumble. But doesn't take much to get some really nice sound. Will also crackle and pop nicely.

You really ought to hear them side by side before choosing. Horses for courses really, both sound great; but don't let Simon hear me say that. Tell him I said the sports exhaust is crap smile

Cheers

May sound childish, would bystander be able to hear it even if I set off at a relatively sedate pace?

It also means that you can retro-fit the new Rear Diffuser from the Aero 8 America, once they finish designing it. grin2

I like those chrome side vent which were fitted to the America, and does anyone have a pic of the rear diffuser?
