I don't know what square cut wheels are, but that didn't stop me from ordering them!
Here are the wheels and tires on my new car.

Ah, so that's what they look like - split pattern, not split physically....

Hi Darren

Welcome to TM. It doesn't take much to get the bug and I'm sure hiring one has made you more excited.

You might want to take a look at Nippymog's M3W which is up for sale - it's had a lot of mods and the Stage 2 conversion. It does sound great and goes like stink! I'm sure he would let you know if you needed any further information. Nippymog M3W

Beautiful design on those seats, probably the nicest I've seen. I'm kicking myself as I should have got some bonnet louvres when Morgan did the body change.

Never mind - something to complete later.

Thanks, I was actually quite surprised myself when I turned up at Malvern as this was sat outside the Reception, was presuming it was a customers as looked a bit "hooligan" to be their hire car. When she told me it had the exhaust as well I was well chuffed!

Rear mudguard - although the back end does get dirty it's not been an issue but the extra protection can't hurt.

I agree, I think the bonnet catches look awesome, I presume you're talking about the ones like in my pics. (£354.00 option). Also the Bonnet louvres look cool (£150.00 option).

With the Mudguard, is that an essential, I presume thats a rear wheel hugging plastic part?

Very, very nice, I presume they're just aesthetic, they don't fold, come out or split? They definately look the biz whatever..

WOW..that sounds and looks like a well sorted car. My problem is, until my new house purchase actually goes through (keys in hand and restoration underway) I need to hold off. Realistically it probably won't be till early next year but would love it to be sooner. Even on a new one I'm reading the waiting list keeps getting pushed further & further..

Love the look of the Brooklands wheel (and some of the others I've seen in pics) but again, they seem to be very expensive as an option from new.:(

My wheels are not unpainted, that is the Mercedes Palladium Silver that we chose, the wheels and body match (another small upcharge).

Correct, just a sewing pattern, all they split is me from my cash.
