So yesterday I went over to the factory to provide some feedback on my first 5000 miles.

On the way home I had to stop of for a meeting and just before I was stopped and asked if I'd rent the car out for use in what I guess would have been a rap video.

So what would you do?

You can't be the shy retiring type driving an aero around as I've learnt from previous cars but my experience with this one is on another level.

We headed back from Brooklands and Mrs A wanted me to take her shopping in the West End. We were stopped at some traffic lights and we were approached by one of Londons finest dossers. My heart sank and I thought here we go! hide

I think we made his day from the 5 minute chat we had and he certainly made me a Mrs A laugh. thumbs

Anyhow I'm at just under 5000 miles and I think that's about how many pictures have been taken on the car. It even ended up in someones wedding album in Italy. toff

The biggest problem I've got with the car is the MILF light which keeps coming on much to Mrs A's annoyance. Every time I park the car somewhere another MILF wants to have a go at sitting in the car. laugh2

Taken shortly after we drove into a hotel carpark. You can see Aeroman in the background working out how he was going to drop me in it with Mrs A

Taken a few minutes after we parked up in Bellagio

If I get a free hour in the next week I'll write up my thoughts on the new aero

What would you do?

Absojohn,

You obviously didn't buy this car because you wished to stay in the background, you wanted to be noticed. I think apart from the shape and make of the car, the colour demands attention and is the sort of bright colours a lot of people would pick but don't have the balls.

I like it, (I am not a big Aero fan)but it wouldn't look good on a trad, you are proud of what you own and don't mind sharing. Wouldn't it be nice to say to grandkids that's my car in those video clips, even if you don't like the music and someone has to wipe the dribble of your chin for you somestick

The only concern I would have is that the rappers wouldn't respect your car and it could get damaged, but if the rent more than covered all damages that could occur then maybe that's not an issue.

Still love the colour, My choice would be a blue equivalent with the black. thumbs

I think it's a fantastic car. Vibrant and secure, a living statement of your character and it's wicked..!

Don't let it out of your sight, though. I've known film prop cars get totalled by over exuberant acting.. Or charge enough to get another one made..!!

Fantastic motor.

love

WOW WOW WOW that's one seriously eye catching colour scheme.
Looks fantastic, and really suits the car.
I think I'd only rent mine out if I was the driver and in full control.

I was probably less than 10km, and 800 metres vertically, away when those photos were taken. What a shame it all went pear shaped for me and I couldn't come to meet you banghead We were in Bellagio for a week or so later too.

At least my gearbox is now fixed and should be back in the car next week.

Sounds great Peter, you can get a few more miles in before the weather starts to go. Hopefully I get my throttle bodies in the next few weeks.

At least you found Bellagio the MSCC official map to get there on our lakes tour took us to Verena.

The car was mobbed at the ferry stop, so I can imagine the stir you caused.

But I was confused when in the ticket queue why everyone wanted a ticket to Bellagio when we were there.

Poor old swmbo AKA JanNav had a melt down which was resolved by liberal application of prosecco.

We then went from Lenno where we were staying to Bellagio by ferry the next day.
