I see my VIN number stamped into the frame but no chassis number? Please help, I want to get my car into the registry!

Still haven't found mine on the car either. It was given to me by Lee the builder who read it from the build documentation.

Under the right hand passenger seat probably covered in road dust. I had to vacuum there recently and it became visible again!

On latest cars that's where the VIN number is, not the chassis number.

Not on my 2016. The VIN is only on the two metal plates, one under the dash and the other under the bonnet. The frame number is under the passenger seat on the frame rail.

Look at the crosspiece under the forward edge of the passenger seat bottom... the bar that keeps the bottom from sliding forward.

I took a look to my 3W. My 3W is a 2012 my and is a RHD version. Under the driver seat I have the VIN number and the chassis number is on the same chassis rail. Mine is :
M3W 910 ? Does it have any sense ?
I bought my car when it was 2 years old and maybe already has visit the factory to change the chassis

I have not been home since dropping off the Morgan Friday evening, I will be back this afternoon I'll have a look at that front rail I'm sure I could have missed it
