The car is stunning!
I saw it up close at TOTH.
There are few cars that will carry such colours, Aero is one.
I remember seeing another car with similar colours, I think it was a photo of a Bugatti under restoration. Yet again a stunning car.

Any Morgan acts like a magnet for passers by and this can be both fun or a nuisance.
Mostly fun and generates a nice chat. Sometimes awkward if in a hurry as rushing off may give a negative impression.
If people seem ok and ask I don't mind them sitting in the car for a photo or the "experience", but it can be a pain.
Kids.......two types......
Type1...well behaved...no problems..."does jnr want to sit in the car for a photo?"
Type 2... uncontrolled brats...."oi! Get away from that car!" + words with parents if they are actually there!
Adults.......
Genial genuinely admirers/enthusiasts...chat and offer a sit/photo.
Tyre kickers/fiddlers...".excuse me but please be careful" that's the polite version.
Utter cheeky bu***rs.....climb into the car without any thoughts (happened once at a show..Japanese youngish male with girlfriend).

Hiring car out? Hmmmmm....reluctant unless I was there and happy with the scenario.
Friends want the car for event? Yes...done that.

But I was confused when in the ticket queue why everyone wanted a ticket to Bellagio when we were there.

Poor old swmbo AKA JanNav had a melt down which was resolved by liberal application of prosecco.

We then went from Lenno where we were staying to Bellagio by ferry the next day.

John I know the area well and am thinking of going down in the 4/4. Any problem with ground clearance on the Varenna - Bellagio - Lenno ferries?

We got stuck on the Varenna ramp when we were on the way to the 2014 Le Mans Classic. The lake was unusually high at the time and we had to back off and go round. The cross member under the gearbox slipped neatly into the gap and it took 4 strong 💪men to lift the car enough to back off. The ferry captain was going crazy because he wanted to keep to his schedule, Alis responded that we had a schedule too and if the ramp could not take a car with a ground clearance of 10 cm it was not our problem. We got a refund and drove around to Menaggio, about 3/4 of an hour.

Fortunately no damage to the car.

At normal lake levels there is not a problem.

Yes think I remember some of your photos Peter. Makes me slightly nervous though generally I have no problem with ground clearance. I have been there many times but how would you assess lake levels? But as you say very easy to drive around and I love the roads up to Bellagio whethe from Como or Lecco.

As of, never in a million Sunday's would I have chosen your colour scheme. That is, until I saw it at TOTH and I totally get it. I think I've moved over to the dark side with imp active colours for sometime in the future.

There's only one way to extinguish the MILF light. I think you need to whip out your OBD2 reader and stick it in. innocent

The lake is at a very low level at the moment, quite the opposite to when we had problems. It is fairly easy to guage whether the level is "normal" or not by looking at the walls along the lakeside. The maximum level is fairly easy to see because of the colour of deposits on the stones. At the moment it is 80cm below the normal for this time of year. The maximum levels tend to be in June and July (July is very hot and humid) and would be another 40cm higher or about 1.2 metres above the current level. When we had our problem it was probably another 10cm higher and above the normal seasonal maximum.
