Guessing your dash is similar to the one I have on my 2009 Roadster. If that case, and you mean the rotary knob that controls the fan, than I can confirm that i tightened it numerous times. My dealer puts far to much pressure in the tires, and the rattles induced by this causes the little grub srew to come loose. This srew sits in the side of knob. To thighten it I use a very small allen key, that just fits through the pannel gaps. This only works if the grub screw is still in.... you can check this by just taking the knob off. If it is missing, well it is somewhere in your Morgan. I found mine in the foorwell. I would try this first, as the alternative: dropping the dash, is not too complex, but will take more time. Just a note...when I came to fit one of Cain's veneers in my 2014 4/4: you have to remove the dash which is straight forward but I found that neither of my rotary controls had grub screws fitted at the factory !!!!...they were GLUED ON!!!!
What a pain to remove...started off as a straight forward job but turned into a long job.
Never downhearted !!!
