Did you keep the original engine and bits as those early Plus 8's fetch strong money, at least in the UK?

Isis offers to ship the original bits back with the car, but the engine was pretty well shot from overheating and Isis gave me a good price for the gearbox as a credit against the cost of the conversion.

Thanks. I'll take some more photos today and try that. How do I post photos directly from my files?

Interior shot showing the new Solstice gear lever, and also the LED multi-function instrument (where the tach used to be) that combines speedometer, tach, turn signal indicator, acceleration timer, and some other functions that I haven't figured out yet. The old speedo is disconnected, but the other four (fuel, temp, etc.) gauges function as before.

At least the Moss Box!!

.... Ah just read you reply further up... good job... early +8 moss box cars are good for racing.. I suppose if someone wanted to they could easily re-convert.
