i drive a 2008 +4 morgan with spare wheel and also love the look of a sport with closed back end with no spare wheel question . has somebody made a panel that fits the hole ? Diameter in metric ? How diy gr tom

I believe MMC/Aero Racing will sell you one, painted to match the original colour.

Someone should make a cylindrical box that replaces the wheel so that the freed up space can be used for the storage for a pump & sealant and hopefully there would still be some space left for other less essential items (that the wife might want to take). The box could be in two depths, one shallow so that the closed lid replicates the sport, or a deeper one with the same volume as the wheel.

I must admit I have wondered what a classic would look like with a boot, a bit like the Aero S1 perhaps?

You could probably adapt a 4x4 spare wheel cover.

I've always fancied adapting the mounting so the spare wheel sitS inside out creating space then adapting a rear door landrover cover as Dave suggests. Not got round to it yet though.... Nick
