How does the ARP4 do in the twisties? I know it has an upgrade in suspension.

How does the ARP4 handle compared to the 3.7 Roadster? I would think the lower weight up front and better suspension the ARP4 would eat it up in a hill climb.

I've thinking of buying a ARP4 but have not found one here in the US. Their are a number of 3.7 Roadsters around though.

Check with the importers I think this car is maybe unavailable to you across the pond. As you know the quota has been already sold but one or two still on the just S/H market.
It has been stated on here that it is very unlikely to pass our 3 year MOT Government test on emissions.

Others will have more information on here I'm sure to help you out.

As you know I have a 3.7 Roadster.

I would think the ARP4 would quite easily outperform the 3.7 on twisties and standing starts due to the better/harder suspension set up. But possibly not mid range - say 30-60mph where the Roadster can be hot over 3600rpm.

THe 3.7 claims 295bhp vs 225bhp for the ARP4. But a different car altogether.

My ARP4 did not have power steering .. it was fine once you got going.

I didn't sell it, and wouldn't have sold it, but it is no longer.

Sean had a severe altercation with it unfortunately he sustained bad injuries as well which are ongoing.

I only write this as on another thread Sean chose to share it there.
The initial thread was started as the car was for sale as a write off on an auction site.

Painful viewing and we wish Sean all the best for a speedy recovery.
