Having just done the same to my S3, its very pleasing to see it all bolted back together again.

Good luck with the stripped and cleaning Adrian.

I will be putting Rosie in Blue into the garage on stands over the next few weeks, will be removing outer garments, ready for a good rub down, grease, oil and filter change, and a possible pipe session. grin2

I think this is the clincher for me - you need plenty of space to store the wings, cowl, etc. and ,ideally, an extra pair of hands to manouevre said panels off/on the car without damaging them.....

We are lucky enough to have a double garage - except that half (or more) is full of 'stuff' swear

It's not often I can't do something in a single garage, but storing those wings...it's not going to happen. laugh2

I'm quite lucky I have kept stuff to a minimum for when I move, although I will board the rafters for storage and have a shed for gardening!
