Perhaps I have this wrong, but S1 to S2 is pretty easy to spot.
Rear deck and duck tail boot, 3 wipers and a full dash, different engine all easily distinguish the 2 from the 1. The 2 also had AP brakes not Morgan ones, but this may have been shared with a few of the S1's with 5 stud wheels?
S2 to S3 I understood to be the introduction of mini vs beetle lights, round front indicators and a different full length grill design?
Have I got that wrong?
