Well I found the source of one annoying noise.... the coil is dragging against the shock body, see?

What noise do you suspect it was causing? I hear a groan from the back when turning corners, particularly while accelerating.

Ahhhhhh...years ago with Konis on my Lotus Europa, I had to wrap the shock with a Teflon sleeve. It was a standard practice. I remember getting the "fix" from R.D. Enterprises a lotus specialist.

I will get a new photo, it has been anoither 100 miles since this one. I have some other things to talk with my dealer about as well.

I sent the photo with the red circles to the dealer, but am I obsessing over nothing? Just seems metal to metal contact cant be good.
