I took my recently acquired car out today for the first time with the top up. Creaked, buzzed and rattled its way down the road....and that was just me!  Seriously though is it normal to hear so many noises with the top up which you wouldn't hear alfresco so to speak?

I love it driving her with hood up when it is really cold, no other car is so cosy. I also enjoy all the noise and the heater which remids more on a oven or ingel than on a modern central heating.

Yesterday a drive to Williams. Hood down. Ray as "ballast" to balance the car! 07.00 start and route via Chepstow Racecourse to see the HERO rally stage. Nice to see the older cars going like they were meant too.  Quite"cool" at that early time but not bad. Enjoyed the Williams day too. A certain TM'er mentioned getting a second sausage bap so I felt duty bound to join him....
