I felt a little sorry for the two who missed out so I popped in the factory this morning.

84012 is awaiting a dashboard and windscreen and is scheduled for production in the 1st week of December.

84015 is finished and on its way.

I asked about taking photographs and putting them on forums such as this and they said they couldn't care less.

Well done. TM rescue service. I was so disappointed to receive the email after the tour was finished. I had turned my phone off during the tour and didn't turn it back on until I returned home . It was then that I picked up the message.

Looks like the options are still slowing some of us down due to availability. Thanks so much for checking at the factory this is such a great forum and I appreciate everyone's effort and input as we wait for our new babies!

tmg513, you are a true gentleman! Thank you so much for heading over to the factory simply to provide us with much needed and desired information about our builds. It is disappointing to hear that the factory may be having parts supply issues once again, that is if the delay in completing my build 84012 is due to the lack of parts for the new windshield and new dash. I hope I don't face the same problem Kirk had....the 1MOREWK license plate may be available in CT though!

Did you happen to take any photos while you were there? If so, can you post or send them to me?

Also, any chance you saw Build 84016? That's John's car....we bought our cars from the same dealership in New York.

Thanks again!!! I really appreciate the favor!

Have a great weekend everyone!

You're very welcome. I just called in at reception (I only live down the road) and asked them, so no photos I'm afraid.

Not quite sure what you mean by calling reception and asking about photos...

Does that mean that you are not allowed to take photos, or does that mean that you didn't take photos? Just not clear on the intent of that message. Either way though, it sounds like there are no photos of Build 84012....bummer!

There's a reception desk at the factory which is manned by a couple of very pleasant ladies who kindly provided me with the details of your builds. I didn't go anywhere near the production areas so didn't take any photos. As I said in the original post it's no problem to take photos if you wish.

Understood....thanks for the background info. That's really nice of the ladies at the reception desk to provide the build status info.

Thanks again for stopping in....maybe next time you can head into the production area to snap a few pics??? Pretty please?

I know it's a lot to ask for, and I don't blame you for thinking that this guy from the US is crazy for asking, but it can't hurt to ask!

You are my only source of information, as my dealer has kept me completely in the dark about the status of my order. The last they told me earlier this week was that it was painted! Seriously, that's it!

Fast Ken, regarding build number 84024, have a look in Mog magazine, December 2016, page 50.
