Just watching a re run of 'War of the Roses' for the third time (Sad Old Git ) where Michael Douglas receives his birthday present Morgan.

I found this odd Trivia quote about the film of the Internet Movie Database:
The car that Oliver owns in the movie is a 1960 Morgan Roadster (known to collectors as a Morgan 4/4).
The car was really crushed in the film and was purchased by a man named Bill Caruso of Hartford, CT, who restored it with the intention of racing it at Limerock Park, however he died before he could. It was purchased by auto enthusiast Wayne Carini for his show "Chasing Classic Cars".

I wrote a good while ago about a women from our village who lived in Harrogate ( Yorkshire, Hence War Of The Roses ) who took a broom to her husbands flat rad in the early 1960's . She smashed the hell out of it because he gambled her fathers loan of £200.00 for white goods . She told him if you have wasted my dads money I will smash your car to bits , he said you would not dare and returned from work to find the body destroyed . The screen smashed also so he removed it from the car stood it next to his dust bin and the bin men threw it in the wagon . She said he spent 3 weeks on the tip looking for it . They soon divorced . Wonder if I would shoot my wife if she did that or do it to her car.

there was an episode of "Chasing Classic cars" - Wayne Carini - car restorer in USA who's friend restored this car.His wife eventually passed it on to Wayne Carini and the episode shows it being taken from it's shed, prepped, raced at Limerock.
It's repainted red body with black wings. Unfortunately it suffered water leaks so the track session was curtailed.

Can we find the video of this car racing I believe I saw a video online some time ago but cannot find it?
