Looks great! Nice color match with the interior. Looks like you car is ahead of mine as I don't even have the body mounted yet!

Thanks guys....I am excited to see the progress, albeit it's been slow in the making as we all know!

Draggin....I am also excited to see what the sport grey will look like with the heritage stripes. There aren't too many cars out there with heritage stripes. It's an expensive option.

Truckin-on....Yes, I opted for the Stage 1 kit, hope it's not too loud!

Glenn.....I hope to have a similar smile on my face when I finally get to drive my M3W out of the dealership! It's going to be freezing cold by then so the 75 mile ride home should be interesting!

FastKen...Is that your M3W in front of mine? I thought your was already on a boat making it's way to you in Cali?

John...I hope yours isn't too far behind mine. Linda thinks they'll ship separately, but that will depend if the parts for the new dash and windshield are in stock.

1MOREWK )-: It has not shipped. Was informed today that it is being shipped with one other car after the Holiday? Maybe they are both coming to the Left Coast?

You could try contacting the shippers directly to find out.

Ken your M3W is sharing a flight with another new M3W, both coming to San Francisco. I am not sure you could have withstood the Sea Freight option - a full month spent without fresh updates from your dealer and no Talk Morgan persons able to do recon on your behalf! It's nice to see everyone being so supportive of new owners.

Not to start something but there seems to be a culture if poor communications relative to Morgan. It's more than just a casual observation that Morgan dealers have trouble getting real time information from MMC, and that the small network of US dealers uniformly are either slow or dismissive of customer inquiries once the deposit check and order are in. Almost ( tongue in cheek) seems by design to be a purposive approach to be as quirky as the cars themselves... keep using old school techniques for building and communication... wood for the cars and carrier pigeons for responses.

When we ordered our new Audi, we had a delivery date given as an estimate. This was backed up by a letter showing a week late.

I didn't feel the need to do anything other than wait.

The time change doesn't help. I use to ask a question, they would get it the following day, if I was lucky another day and I would have the info I needed. Recently I have completely altered my Circadian rhythm as I have found that if I can send my e-mail just after midnight in California, it is probably near the top of e-mails seen when arriving at work in the UK, and I receive prompt responses for the most part. I ask a fair amount of questions. While always gracious and helpful to me, I wouldn't blame the staff for cursing my name by now. With the dealers I know and have met personally, I do know that it is not for lack of effort on their part, more so with frequent changes and additions to exchange rates, build slots being filled from numerous countries which happens overnight sometimes, pricing and availability of various items while working from a different country. And yes, the quirky charm - all these combined can appear to be a bit of a runaround to a waiting customer. I always try to maintain contact with our customers even if it's just to say I'm still waiting for the wanted info. As much as it pains me when I cannot claim full knowledge of all the topics I would like, it's better than the customer feeling abandoned rather than excited about owning their Morgan.

I will now quietly exit this thread, so the customers and owners can speak freely without my interference. By the way, completely unrelated - except for this edition's focus on the M3W - I have published the 2017 Morgan Calendar photos on line for anyone who wants to see this year's pics. I will post the link elsewhere so as not to misappropriate this thread. (There will be a complimentary copy in a certain #84024 once it arrives in S.F.)
