If you look half way down previous page you'll see a couple of photos of the sump guard - not great pics I accept but car presently away getting its first service so can't offer any better ones at the moment. As I said previously I believe my dealer had it fabricated by an engineer local to him so not 'commercially' available. it cost £400. incl fitting.

If (???) they do start your car this week then I wouldn't be expecting delivery much before end of April..... but if my experience is anything to go by you'll consider it well worth the wait....

Glad your build is imminent. I had Krazy Horse fit a sump guard to my S5 Aero. It's a Wolf Race unit and the cost was £280 + VAT plus fitting (total bill £435). It's specifically made for the Aero and seems to be very robust (though I haven't yet bottomed out the car to test it!!).

For a metal plate across the sump ! This seems a lot for something that should already be protected or the car should have been tested over speed bumps to solve this problem before it happened ?
