Good evening, would anyone know what the yellow padlock warning light means on my 2014 +4 Dashboard. Surprisingly it is the one light not described in the handbook! Genius  Thank you

That's a new one on me  A Google search suggests it's an electronic steering wheel lock warning and the steering wheel needs to be moved slightly to release. Best I can do

Just a guess, immobiliser problem.
Try a different key to see if the light goes out.

Unlock the garage door before you drive out?  I would think immobiliser circuit too..

All (" modern" cars from the last 15 years) have an transponder in the key, it makes elektronik contact with the system so the key is not only an mechanical unit but also elektronik .... and if it fails .... you get somtimes an yellow padlock on the dach ..... but i dont now if it is also in an Morgan key ........ but ... Morgan +4 keys are from Ford ? and Ford had it for at least 15 years

I have the same issue - flashing yellow padlock on my 2014 Plus 4. Everything works but this light now comes on when the key is out instead of the normal flashing immobiliser light - any ideas appreciated

If it is a padlock on its own then it is normally to do with door locks - if it's a padlock on top of a car symbol then it's a passive anti theft system
