Gentlemen, it has been fun. I know I haven't been a huge contributor here, but I have been following, lurking in the back ground for a while. I have sold the 3-wheeler to a gentleman in Las Vegas who is picking her up tomorrow morning. While I am sad to see her go, I am relieved to free up funds for things of more importance in my life. Cars come and go, this ones time has gone. Thanks for all the help gents!
Cheers

I am considered a heavy user. I love this beast. I have put it away for the Winter to await Spring. Vermont seasons deserve capital letters. Yet I do understand the bittersweet part of this. I, too, have thought about selling this and applying the funds to something else, or at the very least adding them to my dwindling retirement fund.

I can't do it. Just yet. The time will come...

Fare well and I really hope you achieved some great memories with the Morgan!

What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

M3W's are fun but maybe not the absolute keeper. Too many limitations.
My 4/4 will have a secure place in my garage for many years while the 3wheeler may once find an place somewhere else.
Lots of nice memories in any case.

Sorry you are leaving, amongst all the many pleasures of TMing, one of mine is seeing all the different locations of the contributors.
I have been to your part of the world so seeing it appear on your posts brought back many happy memories.
Jolly good luck to you in what ever you do next but perhaps let us know. englandwave

Not an easy decision I'm guessing...I too agonized when I traded in Murphy ('28 Anzani Aero) on E. Audrey (5 speeder). Now E. Audrey has over 4200 miles on the clock, but I still question my decision to the point where spring may see the 5 speeder looking for a new owner (Family financial considerations), but Marga, my '64 +4 4 seater of over forty-five years will remain in the family.

This site is not just for current owners - so don't be a stranger. Post about your other metal - some of us are big fans of G-Wags & U-Mogs!

Yeah...I sold my 2013 M3W about 8 months ago...it's the kind of car you date - but don't marry.

Bought a 1954 Austin Healey 100 (BN1)...and I've never looked back. The car is simple, I can do all my own maintenance and repairs, but in a pinch there are tons of British car shops that can help out with more complex problems. The car will never lose much value - it may even appreciate modestly...

The BN1 is just as much fun to drive as the Morgan was.

The M3W just isn't a very good value proposition...find a "real" classic and learn the car, start working on it yourself, and you won't miss the M3W one bit.

Guess it takes all kinds. I've had pretty much every car and bike in existence , including an AH 3000 and NOTHING brings me the smiles and joy of my M3W. Value, shmaule... the M3W simply kicks ass. Wouldn't trade it for your Healey, a McClaren, Ford GT, LaFerrari, Pontiac Aztec...
