Today we took part in a Christmas parade then my wife went flying in a friends gyrocopter. Good times

Screw the M3W, that is one very sweet gyro!

Sorry, M3W is very nice too.

Glad you and yours had a great day. Nice pics!

Good run west over the Cairngorms before turning and running from some distinctly scabby weather coming the other way!
New battery just working and making starting the engine so much easier. Who'd have thought it!

Peered out the window this afternoon to find dry roads for the first time in a while, so rushed out to fire up the car that hadn't been used for nearly three weeks. Was expecting a protracted start sequence as on previous two occasions, but despite similar low temperature it fired up on first push of button smile Had a short but exhilarating blast around country lanes before returning at dusk.

Thoughts were that maybe the ECU had adapted its mapping to better suit the cold weather. Any likelihood of this being the case?

We're in Des Moines IA this weekend to be with the kids and grand kids. While eating that WONDERFUL free continental breakfast this morning, the news was on and it listed the temp as -10F. I was used to this back in the late 90's when I was on the National Ski Patrol and had to ski regardless of the outside temp, but since I've been living in the greater St. Louis MO area, I've gotten a bit spoiled.

Hope you all have a very happy holidays.

Thursday it hit 50 degrees. Went out for an hour, put it away, then hopped right in the family car and drove four hours to visit family.

I regret nothing

Went to a classic and vintage vehicle meet at Sarratt today - I needed to check out my two-eared spinner Christmas presents... Met up with a couple of interesting Morgans, one with a pterodactyl on the radiatior cap:

The other with the same wings as the casting that I purchased from Ebay (sorry pictures not the sharpest).

So, back in time for tea and cake. (Still not decided on the radiator mascot).
