Funnily my wife prefers them... I'm not sure I should make any reply to that statement! Ah ok...I now have a better understanding with a litte help from the urban dictionary  I should have said, my wife likes those bumpers as Mercedes had mounted them on the US version of the R107SL from 1974 on.

I had to look at urban dictionary... Not what I meant  My comment was a reference to sexist male comments re: lady drivers. I was thinking more along the lines that she was happier with the larger bumpers to protect the car...  I think I'd better stop before I really get into real trouble!
