I'm not sure I should make any reply to that statement!

Ah ok...I now have a better understanding with a litte help from the urban dictionary scared
I should have said, my wife likes those bumpers as Mercedes had mounted them on the US version of the R107SL from 1974 on.

I had to look at urban dictionary... Not what I meant shocked2

My comment was a reference to sexist male comments re: lady drivers. I was thinking more along the lines that she was happier with the larger bumpers to protect the car... hide
I think I'd better stop before I really get into real trouble! getcoat

Ah ok. It is funny how many interpretations are possible. Concerning the lady driver aspect you are absolutely right. Not only she likes the bumpers by their looks, once when the car was new to her, and this is a secret, she was not aware how much torque was there instantly from tickover on. The steering wheel had a wrong angle and she touched the side wall of the garage with the bumper. The bumper did protect the car very well and was ok by itself also afterwards. Now she knows better.

Actually Heinz I do not have any pictures like this to download !
Better get someone to drape themselves over my new car when collected..slightly concerned about damage though!

My experience is that the first pic of a photo gallery in this forum like the "Morgan Photo Gallery" has to be uploaded directly into this gallery. This very pic must not be bigger than what is required. Then it will appear. Only after you have uploaded this first pic directly into the storage of TM you are free to paste links of Photobucket or similar pages which offer an IMG link of your pics - into this same initial post.

Every reply is not permitted to post a link of a photo concerning the Photo Gallery.

The Photo Gallery forums may accept the UBB code IMG link but it is best not to try as it seems to trigger a database bug in the forum software and either incorrect or no thumbnails show in the Gallery.

I do not use Photobucket and virtually always post my photos into a gallery or as an attachment to a post using file manager after suitably re-sizing the photo. It is then possible to use that photo in another post. With attached images I right click on the image, select View Image, then copy the image url to use in the UBB IMG tags.

for example http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/13316/filename/20130612_174523.jpg surrounded by the image tags is displayed as below:
