Which two were they Neil ?

Pretty sure you are right about the Bentley - I'm just a fan of Bond entertainment.

Yep. In the first 3 novels he drove a drophead coupé bodied 4 1/2 litre Bentley Blower.

It is peculiar to think that if the films had been as the books, Bond would have driven a 1931 Bentley Blower

The first books were published in the early 50's so I suppose it might not have been too incongruous then but certainly would have looked very odd in the swinging suave 60's of the films

A few years ago I was convinced I'd seen a Morgan in a Bond film but it turned out to be a Brazilian MP lafer in Moonraker - looked a bit like an MG T

The Vanquish for the sense of occasion, the XKR as a very reliable and rapid daily driver. I also owned a rare Volante Vantage that was the sister car of the one Timothy Dalton drove when he was 007. Not a deliberate Bond theme from me, just happened. smile

Just goes to show how little they were valued in the 70s...
