Well have sold my Aero 8.

It was a wonderful quirky car with bags of character but simply too many ifs and buts for me.

Our experience with the pedal car didn't help either and to be honest that precipitated the sale. Over two months to collect, repair and return my children's Christmas present was really very disappointing.

I will remain a big fan of the Morgan marque and recognise that there are some fantastic individuals at the factory - Mark Baldwin and the recently departed Matthew Parkin were superb to deal with and to my mind were the epitomy of all things Morgan. The dealers I struggle with a bit and think it would be interesting to see the likes of Sytner, Lancaster or HR Owen on board.

Another major factor was the distance between the factory and me - had I lived in the south then it would have been a very different experience. I think up here in Scotland we also lose out a bit on the Morgan 'scene'.

I very much look forward to seeing Aeroman's supersports which I am told will be simply stunning!

Kindest Regards to all,

Robert

A great shame to hear this Robert - but never say never eh?

Maybe a Trad as a hobby car would be more fulfilling? thinking

Robert,

I'm sorry to hear that you've sold your Aero 8 - I'd love to hear what you've bought instead... something tells me it may be Germanic and forced induction? wink

I hope you end up with another Morgan in time.

Cheers

Simon

I too am sad to see you go, may be a simple 4/4 sport sometime in the future?

Best Regards
