by the way, the Dashboard from 1977 to 1986 is the same. Dont have a pic to hand sadly.
Google it and find a car between those periods. Will

My pictures above were Botophucked so here they are again. It looks like Max, the OP, sold his Morgan in 2016 but I hate loose ends! ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/01/02/IMG_0152.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/01/02/44dash.jpg) I love my Ford Kent 4/4 for a whole lot of reasons but the forward view of the cockpit isn't high on the list. I suppose the matt black vinyl, plain Smiths dials with black bezels, plastic rockers and sparse glove box with cardboard interior are a reflection of the austerity seventies, when Morgan wasn't a luxury car maker. I don't think a Morgan model before or since has been fitted with such an uninspiring dash? I've long had plans to replace the dash with a wooden one but I've grown to accept the stark functionality of the one it has and the only change I've made in 12 years is to replace a broken switch. Easter, not sure that scanning from books or magazines and posting their content is without a degree of risk..thinking possible copyright issues..?
Ian, it does seem that in order to utilise image hosting sites one has to sign away ones rights to.. err.. well everything..!!!
My mid 80`s +8 dash is original and very similar to Ian`s other than the indicators betwixt speedo and rev counter. Given my Vintage interests I had thought to replace the whole dash with an engine turned one as per some Bentleys, but my values relative to retaining a measure of originality, perhaps the charm of Morgan`s design strategy, and a degree of cost saving took precedence... (-:
Happy to post a pic if there is any interest, though can only do so in the galleries not in any threads, given my phobia re joining hosting sites.. (-:
