I'm in the process of converting my 1989 4/4 Ford 1.6 Propane MOG to Petrol. In installing the original Weber 28 32 carb I'm trying to figure out the proper connections to the cooling lines at the front of the carb that go to the automatic choke. There are two outlets on the carb housing. One goes to the intake manifold, the other ties into the hoses on the other side of the engine. My question is, which goes where? Is there are proper "In" and "Out" or directional flow of coolant into the carb? Does it matter which hose goes to which fitting?

Regards from New Hampshire!

Warren,

I can't help you out with the single carb, but I have the same motor with dual Weber DCOE45 side drafts on. The coolant connection on my manifold goes to the "H" fitting behind the motor in front of the firewall. I do have a single 32 as a spare at home, with manifold so I will see if I can work it out if no one else knows.
