Thanks Jay - it will be "a while".
First I need to get the text fully drafted. I'll probably leave the pictures until the end, because it will make the files unwieldy.

Yesterday MrsW asked me what might be on the cover, and if it would be a hardback. I think that's a bit premature............ grin2

Fantastic News Dave - please put my name down for an Autographed 1st edition.

Also if you are going to self publish I will be happy to pay up front for my copy to help ease the financial burden of that if it helps.

Cheers John

Dave,
I can only add +1 then +1 for a copy. It should be sold to the factory as a "proper" handbook which would actually be of some help and reflect how we should look after our cars.
I would like mine signed by your good self as well. read

It sounds like I'll need a bigger pen.

Intro drafted.
Chapter 1 almost drafted but no photos yet.

My writing style (as I use on my Column) is to knock it out quite quickly, then sleep on it and tweak it over a few days.

This time though it has to be pitched at the lowest denominator - the person who wants a Morgan but knows nothing. So I'm taking myself back to 2003 (when I joined MSCC) and thinking about what I didn't know. It could be bigger than I first though, with pictures.

The last time I did this was for a single chapter in the David Knowles book about the MGV8 which was published way back, so I have a starting point!

+1 Put me down for a signed (if you don't mind) copy. I would also be interested in the MGV8 if it was a Roadster and still available?

Great stuff! Put me down for an unsigned copy as I reckon they'll be rarer.
