A really nice car! I've recently bought a Plus 4 that was shipped to Fergus on September 30, 1959. Your dashboard is very familiar, but what is the black knob in the lower right corner of the instrument cluster? My Plus 4 doesn't have that.
I believe you could also charge the battery using the inspection light ports.

The black knob rotates and controls the speed of the heater fan. The heater is listed on the sales invoice from Fergus as an option at $55.00. There is no control for the water flow to the heater other than a small spigot on the cylinder head. I can attest to the great volume of hot air it pumps out!

I've seen these heaters before, but not the controls. Alas, my Plus 4 does not have one.

Thanks for posting those- very nice looking Morgan. I see you have the ivory turn signal switch on the left side of the instrument panel. That is a better placement than mine. It is interesting to see the lack of uniformity in the dash layout. It is rare to see two just the same, isn't it?

Regarding your model year, for the 1961 model year Morgan changed the dashboard switches from push-pull type to white toggle switches. So your car was probably a 1960 4/4 that was not US registered until 1961. My guess is that in the 1960s about a third of all Morgans were registered at least one year (even two years!) after the official factory date. Morgan started model years as of the Earl's Court show in October.
