my test was a Yamaha DT250MX, went straight to Motorcycle City and bought on finance a Suzuki Gs1000! yee ha

I was a student so it went CB360, CB 400 F, T140V, MG Le Mans MkIII, Enfield 350 in Kenya. BMW K75S

Likewise , in 1968, I was driving around Malvern and Worcester learning , and took the test in Worcester. I'll swear it was the same examiner who passed me 3 years earlier on a Lambretta LD150 scooter.

Austin Morris 1100 (might have been 1300?) Front wheel drive was great for hill starts but gave no experience for anything driving rear wheels, like my first Moggy.
The year was 1967, passed 1st time, school was the Co-op and I think it was 17s 6d per lesson....what fun

1966 Bedford van ( looked like a Viva ) . Went 4 times and past on the third. Now work that one out.
