My theory is that luggage mysteriously expands to fill the space available, and, there is never enough space available
The lovely Lady Budster has many fine qualities; however packing light is not one of them. Even for just a weekend, we seem to carry ridiculous amounts. SBM is my witness to this, when he offered to carry tlLB's case to the car at the Cottage In The Wood, last year.
However, time has taught me that it is best not to argue. The notice below, I am sure, may be relevant to many TMers!
We often take the two dogs in our Mog, clipped in harnesses on the rear shelf. A springer and a cocker. The new Plus8 has far less room with the chassis design. Much as I like the car it falls short in the dog carrier capabilty. I do wonder if a 4 seater would be good. I would consider one modified to have storage instead of rear seats. Shame the new Plus8 won't go down that route unless as a £££££££££ one off.
A DHC version with proper raised boot, winding windows and flush-fitting doors is the way to go for the classic Morgan, very much in line with tradition and catering for the comfort required by modern drivers.

I did wonder why everyone stood back a pace at the time..! Chiropractors are brilliant though, aren't they..?
Back on the theme again, it is a shame that with a standardisation of chassis Morgan don't offer a differing body style. It would purely be a coach working exercise, but I'd guess that it would depend on how far they could stretch the homologation maybe..
Quite like the Plus 8 but I think MMC should offer an alternative design.
In my Plus 4, I can get a weeks supply of luggage behind the seats plus the side screeens (for some personal aesthetic reason, can't stand seeing that odd shape bag in the luggage rack).
In the P8 there seems to be no space whatsoever behind the seats, and I doubt you could even get the side screens in (might be wrong) and many dont seem to even have a luggage rack.
Further more, I think from a side view, it looks too short behind the seats - see image and even the hood looks squashed up.
We don't buy em for practicality, but I go on holiday a lot in mine and it is a factor and I think it would look better extended by a foot or so at the rear.
Maybe two versions could be offered if they can keep the cost down to see how it goes.
Have yet to stuff lots of bags behind seats and a case on my luggage rack but it will have to happen at some stage ! Not much room behind the seats granted !
