Short run out today featuring a Cream hardtop MGA and a MK1 Triumph Spitfire in navy blue with red wires topless, quite a pleasing colour combination and run out.
The sodium trucks are out now so no more play for a bit.

Well blow me down with a chimney sweep's brush. Someone spotted me in disguise recently damn it!  I have achieved fame and notoriety for another 10 seconds in this month's MogMag ('Morganatics'). Back in December I converted Archie into Santa's sleigh (a temporary upgrade) for a couple of hours to take someone on a Morgan Ride. The suitable suit and fluffy beard came by way of having completed a 'Santa Dash' the previous weekend. The suit and beard have now been packed away until next time, as you do...

I'm ready for them !  has just stocked up on tea and biscuits ready for the onslaught. And, we have so many flippin' mugs of one sort or another, it will be good to see a few old ones broken in the media scrum...

Wiltshire Council went nuts with the gritters yesterday evening, so there is salt everywhere. But heavy rain is forecast, so it will al be washed away.
Just in time for the working week!!

TBH what do you think how many times we must have heavy rain before the salt is washed completely away. This is no audit question and I also have no clue but I would guess at least four weeks of condition without getting new salt.

Morgan tucked away in a permabag with dehumidifier I'm afraid and missing driving it very much but alas the salt.......
Talking of salt/gritting - far more little bits of debris so its not just the salt dissolving the metal bits but flying lumps of crud to chip windscreens and damage paint too at this time of year.
Noticeable how much gets chucked up by overtaking cars tyres as they cut back in at the moment. 10 miles to work on friday - overtaken 3 times and on each occasion it was an Audi.....
