If the MX5 looked like either of those they would sell even better than they do. I think they are selling quite well anyway!

I think the Fiat 124 Spyder is possibly better-looking than the MX5, and it's basically the same car under the skin.
Is it worth the additional cost over the MX5, though? I'm not so sure, the MX5 isn't exactly what you'd call ugly.
