Dave, is it a serious read or have you incorporated some Morgan Owner humour? An example would be in Chapter 1 some thoughts on how you convince that you are making a wise decision.

I suspect it's the wrong angle, but I can get you a different photo at the weekend if you wish Dave. This was one of BHM's a couple of days before I bought the present car: ¡Great idea, DaveW! Now, if it's not ready for August...¿could it be a nice Christmas gift? PS: Graham, I loved that steering wheel...

An interesting idea Graeme. I hadn't considered the humour potential of 'managing the expectations' of SWMBO. I'll give that some thought! A bit risky thought if any SWMBO's read it.............. It's almost worth a chapter on its own. "Chapter 16: Views from the passenger seat......... A collection of thoughts from ladies who passenger........

Here's an update chaps:
I've now drafted and redrafted and redrafted the first six chapters. I'll leave them alone for a while now and start the second phase. We're out and about quite a lot now in March/April/May so I'll get much less time, but at least it's a great start. Thanks to all who have provided specific photos so far. I have incorporated some, but some are not sharp enough, or are too cluttered to include. Having said that I've done a bit of cloning and two or three have turned out quite well!
Introduction 1637 words. 3 pages. 1. Buying a Morgan 4928 words. 16 pages. 2. Making yourself comfortable 2441 words. 9 pages. 3. Keeping out the rain 1794 words. 6 pages. 4. Protecting the wings & body tub 2409 words. 8 pages. 5. The spare wheel cavity & rear panel 1977 words. 9 pages. 6. Fitting accessories 2683 words. 12 pages.

The challenge Dave, is to deliver the book quicker than McMahon can deliver a car! Nick

Book Update: Having got as far as Chapter 8 this week, I'm now running backwards through the chapters to enhance as much as possible. If you've ever done a job application its just like that. Each time you look at it again, you find bits to tweak and things to add. I don't suppose that ever stops. But next I've a column to write for Miscellany........... Introduction 1853 words. 1 Photo 1. Buying a Morgan 4995 words. 18 Photos 2. Making yourself comfortable 2463 words. 12 Photos 3. Keeping out the rain 2249 words. 7 Photos 4. Protecting the wings & body tub 2921 words. 12 Photos 5. The spare wheel cavity & rear panel 2028 words. 13 Photos 6. Fitting accessories 3060 words. 26 Photos 7. The engine bay 2215 words. 25 Photos. Updated 01/03/2017 8. The suspension 2484 words. 20 Photos. Updated 01/03/2017
