I'm not promoting the sale of this, but just thought with all of the different vehicles listed that this may be interesting to some of you.

Now that is the most interesting one to appear yet, excellent.

I think the car I actually miss the was the hand painted dolomite sprint with a power scoop in the bonnet and an essex v6 lump in with cherry bombs, its sounded unreal and went like the clappers, and it only cost 300 quid and one new propshaft which it broke again as well, had to put bags of sand in the boot to get round bends its handling with so much weight up front was at best scary and in the wet roundabouts were almost impossible with any right foot weight, it did make me smile a lot, a true rat car

I gave the "most missed"car some thought, my MGA race car is right near the top. I worked for months making the mold for the headrest fairing. I had also made a wood pattern and had cast an aluminum manifold set up for 4 1-1/4 SU carbs, and ported out the intakes as much a I could attempting to de-siamese the head. That didn't work, took the de-siamese splitters out and it went like gangbusters. Rode like a Cadillac compared to my open wheel cars, cornered as flat as a pea on a plate. I even beat an older V8 powered Corvette with it on one occasion.

I know, seller's remorse... I thought I never got attached to cars etc, but there is one car that I miss big time. It was actually up for sale this past fall, but at $89,995 Buy It Now price, had to pass. I did tell him that if he was short on garage space and needed more room, I could "store" it for him... smile

The sticker on the steering column drop support reads, "Injection's Nice But I'd Rather Be Blown".

I built this car from the frame up and know every detail intimately. I built it to drive, which I did. The two years I had it, I put over 16k miles on it. Being from Michigan, that means that about 4 months out of the year it sat in the garage.

Although I built it to drive and be dependable, if it showed well, that's even better.

Here are the first year's awards. I was in four Goodguys Nationals and got four picks. They give picks for different classes etc, Best Gasser, Best Streetrod, etc, etc, even muscle cars. So I was very happy with it. I was also in three Rod & Custom magazine issues after I competed in their First Annual Asphalt Ego Rama Shootout, which was only nine cars. It started in Bonneville and ended up in Pleasanton CA, 1700 miles. My wife and I left MI and drove to Bonneville to meet up and start the Shootout. I put 6300 miles on the car in 21 days... WOW was that ever fun!

Sorry for rambling.

So if I could afford to buy it back, I would in a heartbeat. I had a wild hair up my butt and had to move on to another project, so needed funds to do so. As it turned out, I moved and never finished the other project, a '55 Chevy Nomad gasser with a 540" 660hp BBC.

Oh well, that's water under the bridge at this point in my life.

I enjoy seeing other's cars on here very much. Such a wide diverse group of vehicles.

Keep em comin'.
