We just got our car back from the factory after its 3rd service there. We have not gone through the dealer as the water coolant leak was still under guarantee and still needed to be fixed. So not having the experience of a service outside of the factory, I am very dissapointed with the quality of the service and work done at MMC for six hundred and fifty pounds. scared Being French I do not know what to expect with regard to price and quality in England and would like some feedback on your experiences. confused2

Thanks Aerofrog

Can you give us some examples, so we can give you a better idea of whether it is 'normal' or not? Although, in my humble opinion, there is never a good justification for poor customer service.

In addition to the service we had 4 other 'niggles' to fix and only 1 of the 4 were done which was the water coolant leak. The oil level is 1 cm more than the maximum level on the dipstick. The headlights were dismantled and not put back properly so they no longer fit properly into the wings (there is a space). We do not have the invoice detail yet so do not know what else they have done on the car.

I would definitely complain to the factory... :cussing:

shocked2

Having such ridiculous short servicing(5000miles) intervals. By the time you get back to France, you'll be due for another service wink Hope your headlight is now fixed.

That's really extortionate, was it a major service?

Must be a mis-prints, at 450 an hour, it would have cost thousands to service....
