My old 4/4 had wind deflectors, while they did make a little difference to wind circulating into the car their biggest use was propping the door open if the sidescreens were fitted...

I like the wind deflectors, find they reduce the cold draft in my right eye. On the old style pillers it is possible to fit them inside the side screens. I remove in winter and use side screens. Steering wheel, would not go smaller than 14 inch tried motolita but found it to thin, so went back to standard 14 leather wheel. Old syle.

I bought wind deflectors for our old car. All they did was annoy me when I forgot to move them out of the way of the side screens on a rainy day..
I started off with those, they didn't last long (still got them in the garage somewhere), I replaced them with some very nice plated brass and glass types that fit inside the sidescreens so problem solved, but they were very expensive and still don't seem to do much
I asked the dealer to take them when I purchased Archie. I thought they looked far too old-fashioned (I know, even for a Morgan). I still have them, but doubt I will be fitting them again any time soon.
The only problem I have is with the mounting points. I could remove them, but with the risk of cracking the (heated screen) I have left them on.
Seems my idea to add wind deflectors may be shelved along with going for a smaller diameter steering wheel. Perhaps just need to decide on replacement leather or a thicker wood item.
As a matter of interest does anyone drive with the hood up but without the side screens? Strangely I really like the styling of my car in this configuration.
