A pro job with the correct prep I would estimate 4k at least and higher pending where you go, I know some will say you can get a paint job a lot less but in my experience a cheap paint job is just that. good luck with it, a big money saver is if you could prepare the car yourself?

If you have a complete car, then it is important to prepare it properly by removing both front and rear wings. This ensures you have a covering of protective paint film keeping rot at bay for a whole lot longer.
If the paint shop is to do this for you, and then paint them off the car, then bank on a higher estimate than £4k , I would go for something closer to £5k

a big money saver is if you could prepare the car yourself? My advise is, never prep the car yourself, applying paint is the easy part, the prep is where the skill lies and i personally wouldnt guarntee a job if you had preped it yourself before hand. In fact i would probably chase you, £4k or not.

We've just had a thread on this, I believe the consensus was more like GBP £5k to 10k. Decent paint jobs are not cheap - and as Dean points out, there's an awful lot of skilled prep to do.
