I must say that I truly feel for those of you that had the courage to spend a large sum of money on your Aeros and I hope that things get very much better however, I'm really glad that my initial feelings about the S5 prevented me from buying one. IMHO, it would seem that even now, the factory can't build the cars to a standard that the price demands. Some of these faults are unbelievable in a car approaching £100,000.00. I haven't seen many that come in below £100,000 with the exception of a couple of lowly specced manuals as demonstrators. £105 to £120k seems about the norm (unless having really fancy paint)

Took del January. No Jack. Were you given a reason ? My dealer offered to give me the jack his Demo came with but also stated that since first deliveries Morgan has stopped supplying jacks and contrary to handbook were advising against customer use of a scissor jack. Understandable perhaps given lack of jacking points in a potentially fragile aluminium chassis/tub, but a major inconvenience when wanting to clean inside of wheels.....

[/quote] I have both the auto and the parrot. Currently looking at ways to make the parrot actually usable in the daytime with the roof off as it was designed to be installed flat in the dash not tilted up into the sunlight! A case of form over function unfortunately. If I can't get it modified to work, will replace it with a Kenwood unit that can tilt the other way slightly out of the sunlight to make it more useable. My new Tesla is in at John Kleis having some interesting driver aids added and then they will be addressing the parrot issues.

A case of form over function unfortunately. I have this problem with my new TomTom navigator. The old one had a display that I could see with the top down but the new one suffers from a low brightness low contrast display and I can't see anything with the top down. I have fitted an anti-reflection film now and it is better.

I had a lot of problems to start which were all duly sorted by MMC. My only niggle now is that after being stood for a week and the battery being slightly lower the doors will not unlock by the keyfob. My seatbelt buzzer must be switched off as i have not heard it.

What is wrong with Morgans and batteries?
There is something fundamentally wrong.
When I worked at sea I used to be away for about 13 weeks at a time my Volvo 460 would sit on the driveway all that time undisturbed not on charge battery still connected.
Not once did that thing fail to light up on the first turn of the key when I got back to use it.

Not once did that thing fail to light up on the first turn of the key when I got back to use it. I so agree with the above.I'm on my second Odyssey battery*, the car lives in a dry garage and I have a top of the range CTEC trickle charger connected at all times. If I have not used the car for a while I get the dreaded 'clunk' and no spin of the starter. I have had all the usual suspects checked - the earth, starter connections, etc. Now ,here's the odd bit - if I attach my trusty Costco booster the car starts first time. This would lead me to think the battery has a low charge ,but how can it? * I even purchased a proper battery tester that tells you the cranking output and all seems well.To add insult to injury we have an ancient Toyota (which we call the 'shopping car') which is shamelessly abused. It stands out in all weathers and can be left for weeks on end with snow, rain ,the alarm on ,you name it - and it always starts first time I have been looking at the new Lithium batteries lately and wondering whether these would be a sensible upgrade.....
