It's connected to a battery. We'd all panic.

That takes me back to secondary Biology classes when the tutor killed and cut open a frog, he then dropped a spot of acid on it's heart and it started beating..
Please don't try this at home..

Needless to say the girls in our group were not too enamoured with this experiment.
Sorry for the drift it's all Eric's fault wink.

Wasn't it Galvani that had twitching frogs legs? I seem to remember some schoolday experiment.

I just wished I could remember it in detail Steve - it's long gone now like so many things, the stand out for us 13 year olds was the fact that the girls were so squeamish.

One thing I do remember clearly at the same time was that my Granny's Angina was kept under control with Nitroglycerin tablets.

It wasn't long before I started playing with Sodium Chlorate and sugar after that and blowing things up - the rest is history.

We had fully explored childhoods in those days grin2.

I've been a bit mutton jeff for a long time - it's no surprise to me.

And if it's OK for a little more thread drift, I recall making some great stink bombs in chemistry, it was all rather Jennings and Darbishire stuff!

Anyone remember them? Now who was the author? Anthony Buckridge?

I remember being shown how to make them too at school - we use to buy them in small glass phials and drop them on the top deck of the school bus, boys will be boys.

The girls went mental..

Jennings & Darbishire was all a bit 'young Sherlock', but I loved it.
