I hate ebay for this kind of thing, everyday some crooks post stuff like this and people may fall for it, another 6 like this noted today, it makes me absolutley vomit and ebay if you report it will eventually remove rip off ads but it should be better policed, some unsuspecting person will end up paying a deposit that he will never see or any goods to go with it, my take is when people like this are found the heavy's should be sent round

That is how they scam people. A low price to entice the "bargain hunters". Too good to be true.

I guess these scammers must be almost impossible to trace otherwise this sort of stuff wouldn't be so prevalent.
It must keep an outfit like fleabay very busy keeping up with it all, that ad sounds very naïve but I guess some must look like the real deal.

I only follow links to companies off it I don't deal with them direct I just don't have much faith in it.

Does anyone here use it regularly and trust it I wonder ?

You mean eBay? eBay rocks... use it all the time.

I also use eBay all the time, and sell occasionally. Just like anything else, if it looks sketchy, it probably is. If there is any serious negative feedback on the vendor, it's probably worse than reported. I always weigh the risks/benefits, always pay via a credit card (you have that as protection if you don't get what you expected) and have had a 98% positive experience overall.
