Yes I'm quite taken with them

I had been thinking about them for a while but when a few posted on this thread about their possible ineffective performance, I was going to ditch the idea but I visited Andy at Lifes Motors on Tuesday and he used to have the same model of 4 seater as mine and now has a 2006 Roadster 4 seater and he convinced me they do make a difference plus they looked pretty nice

I'm not too bothered if they really make a difference in terms of deflecting the draught in the cockpit as they look so nice

Might slightly get in the way occasionally but I can always undo them and take them off the hinge

I can remember on our race-bike fairings, that very small lips on the fairing screen could make a significant difference to the airflow.

I am searching for details of perspex type made by someone. They were made after cardboard templates were used to determine the size/shape on test runs. I think, from vague memory that they were screen frame mounted and shaped to match the top of the door so no interference from the door/wingmirrors.

They look very smart and it will be interesting to get the feedback after the diverse reports on here thus far.

I think it's rather like my fog lamps Richard, looks are the priority and function comes a poor second laugh2

Oh well Steve, it's the looks that attract us to our hobbies so it can only be right that we strive to improve them to whatever end laugh2.
I bet the practical Swedes don't though !

We have to see yours fitted please.

p.s. When I hear people decrying the OE headlamps on Morgan's I do rather wonder what they are talking about, or rather what velocities are they travelling at. I have always found them adequate for normal road speeds.
I had spot lamps on my first +8 but never felt the need for them, but they looked good thumbs .

I'll report back as to their efficacy when I've been out - probably Sunday
