A friend who has an M3W on order (and delayed) says that there are all sorts of problems with European builds currently because of a need for new EU regulations to be met. Anyone know anything of this?

What I heard late last year was that there was a new EU emissions compliance rule that was effective for anything produced in 2017 - I looked it up and posted it some time back I think, can't recall the specifics at the moment. According to what I was told, S&S had to do some testing to confirm and certify compliance to the new EU rule, and that would hold-up EU production a bit, which is why ROW builds were moved up a bit, as the rule didn't apply to non-EU cars.

I will be in Telford this weekend, i would like to visit MORGAN.
Is Saturday a good time to visit?

As i have a M3W on order, are they still doing the drive and visit as a free package?

I am sure Jays will be along to confirm, but I think the factory tours only run Mon-Thurs and Friday mornings.

I called into the factory this morning on my way to a survey in Stratford

Had a good look around the new shop and also bumped into Jon (Gaget), MSCC's new Vice Chair

Had a sandwich in the works canteen and had to put my sunglassss on as Asbo John's Green Meanie went past the door being driven into the workshop

Really busy with tours - car park full with loads of cars parked on the field

After being less than impressed with early photos of the new shop, I have to say I was rather impressed, mainly because it's now fully stocked with lots of Morgan thingies I either don't want, need or can afford

Although I did think the large posters and some of the clothes were great. Oh and the new sunglasses looked rather nice and did suit but resisted temptation.

I might just pass on the new Amberley Morgan picnic hamper for 4 people at £1,500 ! (It was rather nice though)

Did a factory tour with David this morning whilst on holiday from Australia. Got to meet Lee ? who built my 3 wheeler, so a big thumbs up to all there. 18 on the tour, I was the only owner though. Enjoyed the new shop, a few souvenirs bought fit the trip home.

Pete ........yes, you are right. Tours are Monday to Thursday every half hour from 9:30 until 2:30 and Fridays half day. The factory is not open on Saturdays.
