Actually that's a good point - I might have them the wrong way round
It does make sense to have them with the hinge to the inside - easier to clean
I'm doing some fettling on the Mog tomorrow so will have a look

Stewart, my deflectors had the screws coming through from the outside as the perspex was countersunk that way. The nut side protruded enough to prevent folding them parallel to the sidescreen line. They looked like "jug ears", even after shortening the screws as much as possible. They were also non symeyric, the nearside being mounted upside down to give wingmirror clearance. I can't be bothered to make a lot of mods at this time due to sidescreens being used . I may make an effort when the weather improves as I find their effect marginal. If I could get them flatter to the car then the wingmirror issue would be solved. Not a very high priority though.

Well I'm in a quandary
I've had a fettle and a closer look at the wind deflectors and I have put them on the wrong way around i.e. The hinge should be on the inside
There is absolutely no difference in their distance of swivel and they can lay flat against the side so it is just a question of aesthetics
But I prefer the look of the inside of the hinge being on the outside and the high polished done caps add a nice detail so I think I'm going to keep them as I installed them the first time
The only downside I can think of is that the hinge will just need a little more attention when I clean

I'm currently getting quite excited about my first summer with a Morgan  So, I'm considering my first minor mods in anticipation and am looking for a little guidance on some of the easy ones. First of all do wind deflectors fitted to windscreen sides provide any real benefit? I'm not overly keen on leaving the side screens in place when topless  Also quite like the idea of having the roof on without the screens. Secondly I'm not a fan of the skinny wooden steering wheel fitted to my non PAS car. I really fancy changing it for a thicker Moto lita leather iteml but am wondering on which diameter to go for. Current wheel is a 14", which takes effort to turn a very low speed. However I'd prefer to go for a smaller 13" item. As my gym days are well over can anyone comment on the difference in effort required for a smaller diameter? Thanks in advance. I'm sure someone has already answered but if they havent its 7.6% harder going from 14 to 13

I'll report back as to their efficacy when I've been out - probably Sunday Stewart, Just wondering if you have any feedback on the wind deflectors, both with the hood up (no side screens) and down before I  Thoughts on effectiveness and ease of use/hindrances would be great  Cheers A

I'll report back as to their efficacy when I've been out - probably Sunday Stewart, Just wondering if you have any feedback on the wind deflectors, both with the hood up (no side screens) and down before I Thoughts on effectiveness and ease of use/hindrances would be great Cheers A I think they have been a great addition Andy when I first put them on, I had the hood up and drove around in some pretty nasty cold weather without the sidescreens on, elbow out over the door and they seemed to keep the chill off Hood down sidecreens off and again I do notice a benefit - my wife has long hair and went out without a scarf or hat and it definitely reduced hair whipping everywhere  Sidescreens on, they just get in the way and are a bit of a pain really but I rarely have them on

As I have Lorne Goldman's front Wings (from His fire) I needed to plug the holes in the front. Lorne sent Me the Hella drivers lights. Fire damaged. Polished them up and installed. Look great. I never drive at night anymore anyway.

I guess I need to decide on how much I need to use the sidescreens. My 3 year old certainly finds the standard open experience too much. Having said that doesn't go in the car very often and needs my assistance getting in and out so shouldn't be a major issue. Very tempted
