Hi folks,
Considering purchasing a M3W in the US. I am in California, but will consider shipping the car if the price/options are right.
Looking for a 2014+ car with all factory upgrades.

With the current exchange rate, used are a tough economic proposition for the seller unless they are really motivated. Why not just order a new one that is exactly how you want it - that's what I did. Plus, the anticipation of waiting for it to eventually get built is fun!

The exchange rate is at a 30 year low right now. You can get a new one for $10k less than what people paid a year ago. And $15k less than what people paid in 2014. I was looking for preowned ones, but they are much more expensive than a new one because people don't want to part with theirs for $20k less than what they paid. So for an all time low price, you can get a brand new one and customize it exactly how you want.
Also, most 2012 and 2013 models need to have the Centra drive/Compensator update, front cross brace update, possibly bevel box change, amongst a few others. If these updates have not been done, you could run into some expensive upgrades.
I just put my deposit down on Friday for a 2017 week 8 build. So I should get it delivered around the end of April or early may.

You are so much better off buying a new one with the exchange rate as Josh said.
So how have you made out? Did you strike a deal?

Don't forget that when you buy new there is the "hidden" cost of $8,000 - $10,000 just to get it to the states. Plus a possible 20% tariff from Trump if you wait too long.
Also, the only benefits of ordering new over a sorted used M3W is getting exactly what you want, and a short warranty period.
