It's simply a matter of getting it right. When I read about, say Alfa Romeo, I would like to have the confidence that the story is reasonably accurate. Especially in a specialist car magazine.
But when I read about cars which I do know the detail of, invariably there are inaccuracies. So my conclusion is that the balance is too far towards satisfying the casual reader.
One of the reasons why I stopped subscribing to Classic & Sportscar. Not the only reason.................
