Hi, I need to replace my floor mats of my 2010 Roadster V6 LHD but it turns out to become difficult to find a respective source. At present I have the original rubber floor mats but would like to replace them by carpet ones. I finally found a homepage in the UK www.autostyle.co.uk where carpet floor mats are offered but only for a 4/4 built from 1985 to today.
Now my question: Does anybody know whether they also fit to the Roadster or is the 4/4 chassis more narrow? Thanks for your advise/comments...

Try Allon White or Rutter - they will make you some in whatever fabric/material you want.

Coverdale make carpets in 3 different types of carpet ranging from budget to luxury. They have in house patterns for most cars including Morgan. You can have rubber non slip backing and piping in a choice of colours to match or contrast your choice of carpet. I've had some made for 2 cars and the quality of workmanship is superb! You can also have them made for unusual/ rare cars by supplying your own paper patterns, I've done this for my model A Ford replica...

A much cheaper option is to get some thin industrial carpet, cut it to go inside the leather trim on the rubber mats and carpet tape it to the rubber mats & use those - then when the carpet wears out use the old bits as templates and repeat the process. I`ve done this on my 4/4 sport using carpet "liberated2 from the NEC motor show stand - but similar can be bought for a few quid. Looks good and cheap & simple to replace if it gets dirty/tired/worn.

Thats what I have for sale a full set of 12 for a 1986 narrow body 4/4 but made a lot later than that.

No. they are from a 1986 narrow body 4/4 had them made a few year ago .

Or if only the best will do, contact these guys https://www.cocomats.com I have bought from them for my RHD 4/4 and for our VW Up! and Golf. On each occasion I sent them paper templates and they were happy to supply, excellent people to deal with. The product is by far the best I have seen, postage is not cheap because the mats are heavy. You would need to specify where you want the heel pad. It may be that they already have templates for you Roadster as it's a LHD and they're in the States.

The rubber heel pad on my mat deteriorated. As an experiment I cut a piece of thin 1mm textured aluminium sheet to fit and riveted it to the carpet over the old rubber area.
It works a treat. The only downside(minor one) is I am careful when getting in/out of the car as it is a slippery area and it is possible to slide over.
